There was a time that women didn’t talk about vaginal concerns, but procedures like FemiLift have changed that. More women are seeking out laser vaginal rejuvenation, so it has quickly become a popular cosmetic treatment. But one of the questions commonly asked about the procedure is – Do FemiLift treatments hurt?

FemiLift vaginal rejuvenation

FemiLift is an FDA approved laser treatment that rejuvenates and revitalizes the vaginal tissue, using a fractional CO2 laser. Each FemiLift session takes only 15-20 minutes, and it usually requires a series of 3 treatments to gain the best results.

Do FemiLift treatments hurt?

The simple answer to this question is no. The FemiLift laser vaginal rejuvenation procedure is safe, gentle, and virtually painless. Most patients only feel a warm sensation during treatment.

FemiLift uses advanced laser technology to give women the relief they need from feminine concerns such as vaginal laxity, vaginal dryness, urinary incontinence, and recurrent infections, without pain or downtime.

How it works

FemiLift involves the use of a slender steel probe that is inserted into the vaginal canal. The laser energy penetrates into the inner layers of the vaginal tissue, and the deep thermal heating causes existing collagen and elastin fibers to contract, and also stimulates the production of new collagen.  This effectively tightens the vagina to improve pleasure and sensation during intercourse. It also increases lubrication, and reduces stress urinary incontinence.

There are no side-effects after FemiLift treatment, so patients can resume regular activities right away. However for optimal results, doctors recommend staying away from sexual intercourse for at least 3 days post-treatment.
